This is the second time that I have stayed with Sira for her wonderful course in Italian.

The last time was 6 years ago and I will definitely not wait another 6 years before booking again.
Despite the most appalling weather, we still managed to do a whole variety of interesting and exciting things, all the while chatting away in Italian.
From the first evening, Sira listened to my way of speaking and prepared a tailored course to correct my errors and help me to understand the Italian way of speaking and doing.
I had a trip to Cinque Terre on the train, visited the market at Sarzana, learned how to make Pesto at a friend’s house and visited the marble caves of Carrara.  One afternoon I went with Adriano (a good friend of Sira’s) on a wine tasting course and it was really fun.
Every morning, I worked on a little grammar and vocab either in Sira’s cosy kitchen or in a bar with a Cappuccino and a croissant – delicious.
Each day I had around 2 hours free so decided to go to the gym nearby.  Sira’s gentle encouragement from the outset enabled me to converse confidently and easily with the other clients and I felt quite proud of how much I believe that I improved.
The whole trip was fun and light-hearted and I left feeling very sad and determined to book again soon.
I have been on a few courses in schools, both in Italy and UK, and can honestly say that staying with your teacher is so incredibly different as you are totally immersed.
Sira’s attention to detail is absolute and you are guaranteed to leave feeling satisfied with your progress having learned a huge amount of everything Italian.
I really cannot praise enough.  Thank you Sira.  A presto  xxxx
