Beyond Language – A week of La Dolce Vita

How lucky I am! With those words, I woke up every day in September in the charming town of Sarzana. Having the chance to truly live and breathe Italian culture – strolling alongside the locals through their ancient streets, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the region – was an unforgettable experience.
Sira’s Italian course is so much more than language. She is not only a gifted teacher but also an excellent guide to Italian culture, history, and way of life. And above all, Sira is warm-hearted and engaging person with whom you feel like you’re on vacation with a friend.
I spent my week in the Gardenhouse, which was perfect. The location could not be better: the view is beautiful, and the cottage has everything one could wish for. Sira picked me up from the front to our daily excursions, and during my free time, Sarzana’s shops, cafés, and restaurants were only a short walk away. Trains and buses for independent adventures were equally convenient.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an exclusive and authentic taste of Italy!
