I had such a good time in Sarzana with Sira.

It exceeded all my expectations which were already very high. Sira is such a good tutor and a lovely, very funny person. I felt at ease immediately and laughed more on my weeks stay than I had for a long time. 
Not to mention that I feel my Italian improved considerably throughout the week. Each lesson is tailored from conversations from the day before and incorporates your weak points. The tours, the stories, the food, the lessons were all perfect. 
I also did the cooking class, making two delicious fish dishes with the delightful local chef who runs a restaurant billed as the best restaurant in Sarzana. I would highly recommend this as not only do you get to learn how to cook authentic local dishes, you are learning Italian at the same time and then you get to eat it in lovely surroundings. Fabulous. 
I stayed in the Gardenhouse which could not have been better for comfort, location and stupendous views . Perfect. 
I do not think that I could give a higher recommendation than saying that I have already booked again for next year.
